We’re back with another client feature! This time, we’re super pumped to introduce one of our long-standing clients, Disco Cheetah Korean Grill

When we began working with Disco Cheetah in 2017 they were a popular local food truck that could be spotted around the streets of downtown Vancouver during the week, and at local farmers markets and events on the weekend. Since then, they have expanded to their first brick-and-mortar location on Davie St and have quickly established themselves as one of the top delivery restaurants in the city on UberEats.

We manage nearly all of Disco Cheetah’s marketing needs. Our work so far has included creating and managing the following:

One of our favourite services that we provide to Disco Cheetah is hooking them up with local foodie influencers for media tastings and contests. These partnerships have generated a ton of brand awareness for the restaurant. Our monthly influencer lead contests generate 2,000+ entries each and gain Disco Cheetah an average of 100 new Instagram followers per month.

Love & Natural is a new client to Legendary and we’re so thrilled to be working with them! 

They initially came to Legendary for our Product and Social Media Photography Services with an eCommerce photoshoot of their beautiful custom facial oils. We’re so lucky to now be working with them in a larger capacity!

Who are Love & Natural

Winnie, the owner and founder of Love & Natural, has been working in the spa industry for 25 years and owns the beautiful Tao Day Spa, located in Steveston, BC. Winne is incredibly passionate about the skin and body, and its intricate network of systems. Her passion and genuine commitment to helping people are very apparent when you speak with her. She is trained and certified in the following:

Client Feature: The Mamatrainer App

Back in January, we first introduced you to our amazing client, Claire Gray, creator of The Mamatrainer App. Since then, The Mamatrainer App worked tirelessly to launch the app to serve women who sought a better way to exercise from home during the global pandemic, and in April, officially became available from the App Store. 

Not only has the official launch of the app been met with awesome reviews from users, but it was also featured in the top 10 of Vogue’s ‘22 Mother’s Day Gifts for Expecting Mothers’.

What we create for The Mamatrainer App

ONE: WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT  

Our team created a beautifully styled website for The Mamatrainer App to feature the app’s incredible coverage in international media outlines, and provide a clear call to action to download the app.

The website includes a FAQ toggle element and several strategically placed newsletter subscribe forms to capture leads

TWO: SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT 

Our team writes informational and engagement-focused captions for The Mamatrainer’s social media posts. Women love talking about their kids and their pregnancy symptoms, so our core strategy has been to focus on letting people follow along with Claire’s pregnancy journey and share their own experiences. 

THREE: PHOTOGRAPHY 

Our social media photographer takes lifestyle and fitness type shots for The Mamatrainer App, for use on social media, the website, advertising and media coverage. 

FOUR: ONLINE ADVERTISING

We run a multi-phase advertising strategy for the Mamatrainer App. Among the campaigns we’ve created for our client is an intensive downloadable PDF which is released to new subscribers via a Leads campaign to collect email addresses. At under $1 per email, we’re stoked about the results!

We also run a series of App Download campaigns on a series of platforms, including social media, Google Play and the App Store. 

 

Client Feature: Refresh by Steamworks Brewing co

We recently began working with Steamworks Brewing Co. on their new low-calorie beer, Refresh. We’re super excited to be creating images for their Instagram Feed!

Refresh is a traditionally brewed beer using real fruit. It’s preservative-free, has zero sugar and boasts a mere 90 calories per 355mL can! That makes it a must-have summer beverage in our books! 

It comes in 3 unique flavours: Raspberry Citrus, Cranberry Tangerine and Guava Lime. And we may have sampled a few of them during our photoshoots recently!

What we created for Refresh:

Our in-house photographer and content creator, Kat, has been shooting & styling from home during COVID-19 to create product photography for the Refresh Instagram account. 

Obviously during a pandemic, resources are limited so you have to get creative with what you can get your hands on. Kat used fresh fruits available from her local grocery store to highlight the 3 different flavours, as well as using props available in and around her own home. And then, of course, she used her neighbourhood as a backdrop, because who can get enough of the Mount Pleasant murals and the iconic Science World? 

We’ve had so much fun creating visual content for the Refresh brand and look forward to creating more imagery for them soon.

Social Media Client Feature: The Mamatrainer

You know how much we love our clients! Today we’re sending mad love to a client who has been working with us since May 2019 – The Mamatrainer. This company holds a special place in our hearts as The Mamatrainer been training our fearless leader, Erin, since before she had her second baby back in March! Now, we get to share a bit more about this awesome company that helps new mamas feel their best. 

Putting the spotlight on our social media client, The Mamatrainer 

The Mamatrainer is run by Kinesiologist and certified pre and postnatal coach, Claire Gray. Born and raised in Vancouver, Claire has always had a passion for helping new mamas. She gets just how hard it can be to look after your health and fitness after having a baby. 

That’s why Claire provides in-home prenatal and postpartum fitness sessions, small group training, and online nutritional consultations. She designs custom nutrition and workout plans for her clients. 

Most importantly, Claire helps make sure new mamas aren’t too hard on themselves. She gives plenty of support and encouragement to help make sure her clients keep a positive mindset rather than judging themselves. It’s no wonder Claire’s clients call The Mamatrainer a godsend!

One: Social media styling  

Once we had Claire’s SEO plan and website in place, we moved on to more long-term tasks. The first one is styling. We handle the style for The Mamatrainer’s Instagram feed. We make sure that all the images that are posted pop – and that there’s a good variety of images on the feed at all times. 

Two: Caption writing 

We’re not just all about the images. We also take care of the captions for The Mamatrainer’s social media posts. We make sure posts are encouraging and promote the values Claire brings to her work. All posts are fun or inforformative (and sometimes both!). 

Three: SEO 

When we first started working with Claire, we noticed that her online presence wasn’t search engine optimized. Our first task was to change that. So we did a big SEO keyword research project, putting together a list of keywords that are right for The Mamatrainer. Then we took those keywords and revamped the company’s website to make it SEO friendly. 

Four: Blogging

We run Claire’s blog too. We suggest topics that we can SEO and that’ll appeal to The Mamatrainer’s target audience. Each blog captures Claire’s voice, allowing potential clients to see her personality and fall in love with her personality and work.

Social Media Client Feature: Trasolini Pools

We’ve loved working with Trasolini Pools since April 2017. Now, we want to intro them and the work we do with them. 

Our social media client, Trasolini Pools 

After starting out in 1983, Trasolini has spent over 30 years creating high-end pools, hot tubs, and water features. The company remains based in Vancouver to this day. Trasolini specializes in creating custom designed Gunite pools. These pools are the perfect blend of quality and luxury. That is why Trasolini is the pool builder of choice for celebrities and high-end developments on the West Coast, including the ARC Vancouver building and Trump Tower. The quality of their work is unparalleled.

When Trasolini Pools came to Legendary, they’d been working with a marketing agency that just wasn’t delivering the content they promised.and was overcharging for essential services like phone calls. So Trasolini decided to move on – and we were delighted to have them join our social media client ranks! 

Since then we’ve built a great relationship with the Trasolini team. Over the past 3 years, we’ve helped the company with the following:  

One: Instagram

We handle Trasolini Pools’ Instagram account. Their pools, hot tubs, and water features are works of art. Because of that, we try to use as many of Trasolini’s own project photos as we can. To go along with the images, we craft sophisticated but fun captions that capture the company’s vibe. 

Two: SEO Blogging

Captions aren’t the only pieces we write for Trasolini. We take care of their Facebook posts and blogs for their website too. All the blogs we create are search engine optimized to make sure potential clients find Trasolini when searching for pool companies in Vancouver. 

Three: Website 

Trasolini Pools’ website design wasn’t able to be transferred away from their previous provider, so we created a carbon copy of it for the company to own without worry.

Social Media Client Feature: The Facial Room

Kind, beautiful and powerful are three words that describe Patricia Asmar to a T. We began working with Patricia’s business, The Facial Room, in the summer of 2019. The Facial Room is Canada’s largest online retailer of Eminence Organic Skin Care, based in Surrey, and Patricia is also a top facialist in the Greater Vancouver Area. 

Here’s why we love Patricia and The Facial Room so much, and what our work for her brand entails. 

Our social media client, The Facial Room 

The Facial Room is Canada’s largest Eminence Organic Skin Care online retailer. A C.I.D.E.S.C.O. trained and internationally certified esthetician, Patricia Asmar has always been passionate about skin care. When she discovered Eminence Organic Skin Care line, she was amazed. She became a leading expert in the line, using it on her clients – and herself, of course. And you should see her skin! Patricia has redefined “glowing skin” by taking the term to a whole new level.

The Facial Room has been in business for 19 years, with the eCommerce side being active for about 6 years. 

Whether clients are looking to break away from break outs of shoo away their crow’s feet, The Facial Room helps them get the skin of their dreams at Patricia’s spa, or from their own homes!

At Legendary, we handle all of The Facial Room’s social media. In order to do that, we take care of the following elements:

One: Visual feed styling and photography

One of our core responsibilities is to represent The Facial Room’s brand visually on social media. In order to achieve this, Adrian does prop styling and photography using Eminence Organics products that are available through The Facial Room’s website. We focus on a natural colour scheme in the photos, with a cozy, moody feel. This connects with the natural ingredients in Eminence Organic Skin Care’s products. 

Two: Instagram and Facebook marketing

Legendary runs The Facial Room’s Instagram and Facebook accounts. We create The Facial Room’s Instagram Stories and manage the shoppable Instagram Feed. To help build the company’s social media following, we focus heavily on education in each post in order to instill trust in the products from the brand’s customers. Our posts for Instagram are slightly different than Facebook, in order to communicate effectively with the audience of each platform, which are not quite the same. We manage comments, DMs, account growth and product tagging. We love getting to highlight the company’s awesome service. Seriously – they even send samples and organic Belgian chocolates with every order! 

Three: Paid campaigns 

Another element of our work with The Facial Room is the paid campaigns we create and optimize. The goal of these campaigns is to drive sales – therefore, we first set up a campaign to drive traffic to The Facial Room’s website, then a separate campaign focused on converting looky-loos into paying customers. In all, we built over 100 ads across 6 audience groupings for the first phases of these two campaigns.
