Should you boost Instagram posts?

12 steps to boost an Instagram post:

  1. Convert your profile to a business account
  2. Go to your profile

  3. Tap Ad Tools

  4. Tap Choose a Post

  5. Choose a Post you’d like to boost

  6. Tap Next (iOS) or → (Android) on the upper-right corner

  7. If you haven’t linked your account to a Facebook Page, you’ll be prompted to connect a Page. You can choose an existing Page or click Skip.

  8. If you choose to click Skip, you won’t see this step when you boost future posts.

  9. Fill in the details of your ads by setting your Goal, Audience, Budget and Duration

  10. Tap Next (iOS) or → (Android) once you’ve completed your details

  11. To complete your ad, tap Create Ad under Review

  12. You will receive a notification that your ad is running after it gets reviewed and approved for meeting Instagram’s ad policies
